My beautiful love of a 6 string axe still resides in my room.
That's basically the only thing keeping me from becoming irrevocably depressed.
Haha
lovelovelove.
My sister's car didn't have enough room in it.
But they're coming back on the 4th...and I'm sure there will be plenty of room then....
Ugh.
Maybe I'll have to do a little switch-a-roo action and put another guitar in it.
So now it's time to clean the epic mess that's been constructing itself in my room the last few days.
Clothes, clothes everywhere and not enough hangers.
Good Lord.
INSOMNIA
I do believe I have found a probable cure for an impossible condition:
Wearing heels all day.

(new $5 shoes)
While it didn't exactly keep me sleeping all night, it did in fact cause me to fall asleep much, much sooner than I would have on a regular night, and I got few winks from around 2am to 5am. But then I woke up again and didn't fall asleep again for a bit and eventually got up at 10.
That's a total of around 7 hours though.
So much better than usual.
THE JOYS OF BEING AWAKE WHILE THE SUN IS RISING
One of the most beautiful things ever is watching the sky turn black and then through all the shades of blue till it is completely light outside.
I also love watching the trees because they all turn from beautiful, black leafy looking things into green lovelies.
And while I was looking out my window sometime around 6am I heard a "honnnk!" and then saw a whole bunch of geese flying super close to me. It was amazing.
BIRDS
I like them a lot.
Don't know why.
But they make me so happy.
(Good Lord God Bird)
^ That one might be my favorite.
SUFJAN
I realized listening to Sufie's Illiniose and Michigan albums is like watching a movie for me. Because they're both about and hour and a half long and he uses so many different instruments and sounds that it's so colorful in my head and I can imagine all the things he's singing about.

It's like that picture mixed with iTunes visualizer and poetic people running around and mysterious houses with lots of secrets and story lines running around all mixed together.
I know that makes absolutely no sense, but that's the only way I can explain it.
That is what listening to music is like for Jamie. Especially when its by someone as creative and wonderful as Sufjan and that's why I like him and his music so much. It's like yummy aesthetic, audible cranial fruit.
And now it really is time to clean el room.
Farewell for now, friendlings.
